As for performance, this kit is surprising. The 5/16 inch tubing is very small, but it does not hold back the performance of the Bigwater Kit. The Bigwater is made to fit all the popular processors, the Intel P4 socket 775, P4, AMD K8, and AMD K7, and designing a waterblock for one size-fits-all is another example of ingenious design. With the decrease in temperatures you might suspect an increase in noise, but Thermaltake designed this kit to be near silent at low speed and just audible at the high speed.
Although the Bigwater Kit does not include a GPU waterblock, Thermaltake already has a sneak preview on the website. Right now a GPU waterblock is in production and you can bet on seeing the review here at GruntvillE. A few other accessories compatible with the Bigwater kit such as a flow meter, are also in production.
Thermaltake designed a great kit with everything included to watercool your CPU. I am impressed with the quality, appearance and thoughtfulness in design. I highly recommend the Bigwater to anyone looking for a watercooling kit. For a price tag of ~150.00 USD this kit is a great buy. I am looking forward to reviewing the new accessories designed for the Bigwater kit. Please check back often for updates!
