Here at GruntvillE we have looked at many water cooling solutions over the past 3 years. I've had the pleasure to review and play with many different cooling solutions ranging from the entry-level Ahanix Iceberg II kit to blocks from PolarFLO , Danger Den , Aqua Computing , D-Tek , Swiftech , Zalman and even a complete custom water cooled case from VoyuerMods.com . You can find all these other reviews on our Hardware Reviews page in the Water Cooling section at the bottom. However, anyone who researches water cooling will notice at least one “big player” from the US not in that list, and that would be Koolance. Why have we never looked at a Koolance system before, I couldn't answer. However, we are about to rectify that situation and take a look at one today. But first, let's find out a little bit about Koolance.
Koolance, which has corporate Headquarters in the scenic Pacific Northwest of the US , Auburn , WA, has been around for over 10 years now. They recognized back in 1995 that while technology and the demand for better cooling were increasing at a very fast rate, the products in the next level of cooling, water cooling, were simply not ready for the general consumer. While watercooling products were functional, this usually included a large amount of work, power tools, and parts from different vendors. So Koolance started working on a line of PC liquid cooling systems that would be easy to install, maintain, and use.
This next quote, directly from the Koolance website pretty much sums it up; “ Today, Koolance is the recognized leader in consumer-level PC liquid cooling systems. Providing the most professional products available, we cater to those who desire advanced solutions at impressive prices. After all, Koolance is not only helping the industry, we're also pioneering it.”
