Before we start, I just wanted to
take a moment to thank Henry and the crew over at Matrix Orbital
for supplying
this amazing little piece of hardware for us to review. Since Bellerophon
recently reviewed the Matrix Orbital LK-202-24-USB I would suggest
that you check it out to get the lowdown on the basic functionality
of the LCD when combined with the LCDC software. For this review
we will focus on what makes this particular unit different, primarily
that the LK-204-25-PC is a 4 line display with 8 High Voltage (ie:
12 volt) General Purpose Outputs (GPOs).

Who would guess that such a small box could hold such
a versatile device? My good friend the UPS Dude left the package
at my door and inside this is what I found.
As you can see, the unit is well packed to avoid any damage. As you
might guess LCD displays in general are a little more fragile then
some mod supplies, though no more so then a CCFL.
Included in the package is the LCD itself, a 4 foot serial cable,
a CD with all the documentation, and the packing list. This package
also included the LCDC registration code, which is purchased separately.
The LCD is packaged in an typical anti-static bag to protect it as
well as having the serial number on a sticker on the bag, which is
handy.
Well, there she is, all ready to rock-n-roll but first, how about
we get the specs on her.
